Recipes I want to try )

I was having trouble saving these to my usual Yahoo!Notepad location, so I thought I'd put them here. I got them from Smitten Kitchen's blog.

Enjoy...and let me know how it is if you do.

When you made slice, remember that I said "this recipe seems like it should have pecans in it" and you said, "no, definitely peanuts"?  Well, this is why it screamed pecans for me...here's the recipe for 7 layer bars (aka American Slice):

7 layer bars:

1/2 cup butter, melted.
8-10 graham crackers, crushed
1/2 to 1 bag chocolate chips
1/2 to 1 bag butterscotch chips
10 oz chopped pecans or walnuts
10 oz shredded coconut
1 can sweetened condensed milk.

Pour butter into bottom of 9x13 pan. Sprinkle cracker crumbs evenly over. Spread the next four ingredients evenly over pan in order listed, do not mix! Pour condensed milk over the whole shebang. Bake 20-25 minutes at 350F.

See?  Pretty similar.  (Though since you don't care for non-peanuts, I don't expect you would like it as well.)
