All day I got such words of encouragement from my flist, and then right before my class I had "playgroup" (yeah, the kids are in school but the moms still gather).  We (5 of us) went to "Cafe Art", a ceramics studio, where we spent from noon to 2:00 painting ceramics and drinking BYO-margaritas.  (I only had 1/4 of one b/c I can't hold my liquor...and had to drive to class...AND have class, LOL.)

How relaxing is that?!?

So...Thanks again, supportive flist.

You are tight. (but not, you know, tight)

Yesterday, the muse descended--for scrapbooking instead of fiction writing, I'm afraid.

However, this is a very good thing because I am working on two first year albums for my friend Kelli who had twins and two more first year albums for kids who are approaching one year old.  (The latter albums were started long ago, but I haven't worked on any scrapping for 3 months or so.)

My tally for the day was: 45--7x7 or 8x8 pages and 18--12x12 pages (in my own family album, which brought me up within 2 weeks of current).  I think this is my scrapping record.   Besides drive kids around and make a meager dinner, it's pretty much all I did yesterday.

Today we have our first playgroup without kids.  The moms are going to keep meeting even though the kids are all in first grade (except A, who is in Kindergarten).  We plan to eat in one week, eat out one week, have a book discussion one week, and see a movie at the theater or in house one week.  Only 2/3 of us are scrapbookers, or we would have done that one week instead of something else.  (The non-scrapbooker is the shopper who wants to make us all over.  LOL.  We're not doing that either.)

I'd better go clean up the scrapping stuff.  My house looks like the Creative Memories genie threw up in my living room.
