HAPPY BIRTHDAY, [profile] jennlynnfs!

I said I was too swamped to post you a cake, but I couldn't let the day go by without honoring it and you.

ENJOY!

Here's to another great year & success and happiness in life and the new job.

And a Hugh for good measure.  Preferably an adorably unattached one of your very own!

:)

*hugs* and cake!

for SHEM!

Hope your day was filled with fabulous reading/DVDs/parties, all with the requisite side-order of hawt men.

And that you ended up with something slightly more festive than the doughnut you mentioned!

(I'm going to piggyback on Jen P's cake because I thought it was so very cool.

*hugs*

Usually, at the end of the school year, everyone is saying how excited they are for summer and I bring out the old saw about how summer is more work for Stay-at-home (non-homeschooling) moms.  And in the past that has been true.

Tom and I saw Waitress.

Lots of memories of the trip keep flooding back.  Next year we're heading to DC from whence my friend [profile] oliviach just got back, so that's got me excited.

Sorry to hear that our hot weather went East and got sticky.  (It was 105 F last week but since the weekend we've had perfect 75 to 85F weather.)

Hugs to all,

Meg

No, this does not have anything to do with HG-type hoes!

Out here in Livermore, which used to be a cow town, we have a hoe down themed party for the end of the year.

It was today.

Each grade performs a circle or square dance, followed by an adult display of square dancing, and this year a horse/pony mini-rodeo.

Then, the PTA, that would be me and my friends, throw a hot dog lunch for the whole school.  it's fun to wait on the Kindergarteners for their first school lunch.

I served nearly the whole school, K-4, but had to leave before the 5th graders to drive home my carpoolee (reason #42 not to drive them next year.)

It was a blast.  The best day of the whole school year.

I've gotta run to soccer/cake for A's party ordering/jujitsu/craziness.

Bye!
